Cool New Gadget Cases

There were oodles of nifty gadget cases on display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week. Here are three of my favorites for the iPad and iPhone:

Speck CandyShell Flip for iPhone 4
The bottom of this innovative hard-shell case flips back so you can dock your phone in a stereo system or alarm clock without removing it. The case is available in black, pink, white, or gray. Cost: $34.95

tyPad Gen II Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard Case This leatherette iPad case, which has a stand and a Bluetooth keyboard, turns your tablet into a laptop-style device. The lightweight keyboard is made from spill-resistant silicone and lasts 55 hours on its rechargeable lithium ion battery. Available in black. Cost: $99.99

iPad Clutch Case by Vivitar
Vivitar, known mostly for its camera products, introduced a variety of new Apple accessories at CES last week. This iPad clutch, which is made from Nylong and pleather and comes in black, red, and cream, is a dressier alternative to the ubiquitous neoprene sleeve. Additional styles will be released in April, including a cotton blend version available in various prints. The pleather case is available in Office Depot stores. Cost: $39.99
