Rockstar has pulled the wrappers off of a new trailer for LA Noire’s first piece of downloadable content, the Nicholson Electroplating case. The clip, seen below, teases a new add-on which sees gamers try to find out just what caused a major explosion in the middle of Los Angeles.
In an accompanying blurb, Rockstar says, “Detectives Phelps and Biggs race to the site of the former Nicholson Electroplating plant to find a pile of unanswered questions. What caused the explosion? What were Nicholson's employees working on? And where are chief chemist Dr Harold McLellan and his mysterious female assistant?"
The DLC follows just weeks after LA Noire’s initial release and will doubtless help keep one of the year’s hottest games at the top of the charts. The new case can be snagged from 21 June from the game’s arson desk, for 360 MS points on Xbox 360, $3.99 from the PlayStation Store or free to those who have a Rockstar Pass.
